Swiss Chalet has roasted chicken on a spit since 1954. The restaurant took its name from the Alpine look of the first location on Bloor Street in Toronto. That same rotisserie chicken, fresh-cut fries, and infamous "Chalet" dipping sauce survives today. The White Oaks location has free parking in the lot, and buses on routes 10 and 13 stop right outside. Inside it has a family-casual feel.
