Mick & Angelo's is Niagara Falls' own, an independent kitchen and bar on Lundy's Lane at Montrose that has barely changed in fifteen years, which is exactly how the regulars like it. The menu runs Italian by way of the rink: pizza, calzones, and pasta beside wings, ribs, steaks, and Alberta beef burgers. Wings come breaded or unbreaded, and the blue cheese dip is the real thing, made with actual chunks. Inside it's red vinyl booths, dark wood, and a wall of TVs that fills up when the Jays are playing. Kids get an activity sheet with a maze alongside the menu. On Monday, kids ten and under eat free with an adult meal, which makes a wing night on the Lane an easy call. Service is the calling card: friendly, quick, and attentive without hovering.
