Crabby Joe's runs kids eat free on Sundays: one free kids meal per adult entree for kids 12 and under, dine-in. The kids menu covers burgers, chicken fingers, pasta, and grilled cheese in proper portions, and the booths take car seats and high chairs.

Crabby Joe's opened its first location in Ingersoll, Ontario in 1996, and built its identity around a perpetually scowling crab with crossed arms. The branding plays surly; the rooms are anything but. Natural brick, hardwood, earth tones, and booth seating, with big screens making every location the neighbourhood spot for game day. The menu covers every craving: burgers, wings, ribs, steaks, pasta, fajitas, seafood, wraps, and salads.

Obsidian Group manages the franchise system, which grew steadily through southwestern Ontario. A 2022 refresh modernized the logo while keeping the familiar crab. About 16 locations operate today, concentrated in communities like Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Woodstock, London, Stratford, Brantford, and Sarnia, each one sponsoring local teams and community causes.
